Sales Account Manager


Job Description

We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager for Western region market. Account manager can be based anywhere on western region preferably based in bay area in US.

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Sales Account Manager in the Sensitel’s Internet of Things and Data Analytics business. Reporting to the North America Sales Manager, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for business development of the IoT Applications and Analytics Portfolio of TrackAware, StaffCaster, VeriSupply and SENS brands through multiple direct and partner channels.

Sensitel is a global leader in providing customers with software solutions in the emerging areas of Internet of Things Applications and Analytics for the logistics, manufacturing and retail companies. Sensitel is based in Santa Clara, CA and is a member of SAP Startup Focus Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow key end-use markets for IoT Applications and Analytics product portfolio, primarily in Transportation, Retail and Manufacturing
  • Maximize results, manage and develop new customer pipeline, and drive sales with key accounts as well as channel partners
  • Position and sell Sensitel SENS value via innovation projects in new markets
  • Identify applications for customers and leverage Sensitel resources as a competitive advantage when selling products
  • Demonstrated high performance proficiency of key sales techniques and tools including: Pitching, Joint development, sales pipeline/ key account management, and pricing tools
  • Ability to monitor sales pipelines, build a sales patch, identify gaps/opportunities, and execute strategies to meet Sales goals
  • Ability to execute commercial strategies with company management to meet customer requirements in a timely manner and achieve Sales goals
  • Territory is Western Region, US

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science discipline
  • Minimum 1 years of experience selling to any of Logistics, Manufacturing or High-tech industry
Additional Qualifications:
  • Preferred minimum 2 years of experience selling software
  • Successful track record in managing/growing large/diverse market segment territories
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets via existing account planning and penetration and new pipeline sales
  • Be able to articulate the value proposition of Internet of Things, and communicate why a career in sales is the right path for you
  • Experience driving new business pipeline – updating weekly call reports & closing monthly
  • Independent Operator: Proven ability to work effectively and independently and excellent
  • communication/interpersonal skills
  • Superior time management for multiple competing priorities, planning skills
  • Great listening skills to find opportunities in new markets
