Sensitel CEO to speak at the Innovation & Impact 2017 Symposium

Santa Clara, CA - June 12, 2017: Sensitel, Inc. CEO and Founder Ray Sikka will be a panelist at the Innovation & Impact 2017 Symposium, sponsored by Prospect Silicon Valley and being held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Microsoft Silicon Valley, Mountain, CA. The Panel Connected Vehicle Data and Security is scheduled for 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM.

The Innovation and Impact Symposium focuses on emerging technologies in Mobility, Energy, and the Built Environment. The region's leaders from the startup, corporate, public and research communities examine what it takes to integrate and implement innovative distributed solutions for maximum impact.

With almost all the leading automobile manufacturers investing in autonomous vehicles, by 2035, 12 million fully autonomous and 18 million partially autonomous are expected to be sold worldwide, according to a report by The Boston Consulting Group. These vehicles need to be connected to each other and infrastructure in order to participate in traffic congestion management. What are the implications for data privacy and data security? What are some of the other potential uses of vehicle connectivity such as advertising, safety, etc.? What are some of the pitfalls? These are the questions that will be discussed during this Panel session.
